The 4th of July is here and I hope you’re ready for hot dogs, burger, chips, BBQ and some tasty sweet red, white and blue desserts!

4th of July Brownies – dark chocolate and fresh berries

If you are a dark chocolate person – those brownies are a must try for you! They are super soft, fudgy and absolutely delicious.

You can vary the consistency of the brownies by extending the baking time, if you prefer the brownies to be a bit drier. If you bake them some minutes longer they are more like cake in terms of taste.

 200 g Butter (unsalted)
 200 g Dark Chocolate Chips
 175 g Sugar
 75 g Flour
 30 g Cocoa Powder
 1 tsp Organic Vanilla
 3 qts Eggs

Preheat oven to 180°.

Mix butter with chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl and microwave it for 60 to 90 seconds. Stir in-between until both is combined.  Lightly beat the eggs and stir them into the chocolate butter mix. Add the remaining ingredients. 

Spray some oil into your baking dish and line it additionally with parchment paper. Pour the brownie mix into the baking dish. 

Bake your chocolate brownies for 20 to 25 minutes, allow to cool before removing them from the baking dish.
